EMPTIES (hair products I love)|RETURN TO NATURAL

When I use hair products all the way to the bare bottom of the container, I’m assuming that either I loved it or I’m trying to make sure I got my money’s worth.

Luckily, today I’m sharing products that I love and got my money’s worth! These are products that I stumbled upon and turns out my hair loves a lot. As many curly folks know, when curly hair transitions it sometimes rejects old products and routines. When my hair began to reject some of my old products I added these ones in.

Aussie moist conditioner: This conditioner is literally amazing. I had seen many YouTubers rave over the product, and I did not believe it would do much for me. LET ME TELL YOU, the product is great for creating slip along the hair shaft for easy detangling. When I say I go ham on the pump, I use about 50 pumps for each section. But no seriously, the product lasted me for 11 months! And I am in no way light on this product, I was extremely shocked at the amount of time I had this product. This product is meant to be rinsed out, however, I use it as a leave-in and detangler.

  1. Cantu leave-in moisturizing conditioner: I have sworn by this product since I started my curly journey. And I do not foresee myself ditching this product anytime soon. This leave-in is perfect for getting my curls moisturized and healing damage. I believe this product helped my dead ends to revive themselves and get some strength to curl. Not sure if that is true but either way it goes this product is worth the buy.
  2. Cantu moisturizing hair lotion: I picked this product up once because it was on sale and I needed a hair lotion. Since I had already been using Cantu products often, I felt positive that this one would work just as well. And I was correct! This lotion is great for adding moisture and keeping my hair soft.
  3. EcoStyler Black castor & flaxseed gel: Okay, I know a lot of the curly family is done with EcoStyler. But I have mixed feelings about it and I’m finishing my jar.🤷🏽‍♀️ This gel makes my curls spring up and stay as defined as possible. If you are looking for a gel alternative, it is not empty yet but I have been using Aunt Jackie’s Don’t Shrink gel. My hair absolutely loves it.

Finding hair products that work for a long haul can sometimes be difficult. But once you stumble upon the product that works for you, it is the most amazing thing ever.

Tell me what products you used all the way up!
