And I’m back.
Mexico was amazing, I really don’t even know what to say! First of all, this was my first time leaving the country and flying in a plane. This was a little scary for me just because it was all so new. But obviously, I wasn’t too scared because I did it!
While in Mexico, I discovered how nice and helpful the people were. The people sometimes tried to speak English when my Spanish failed, I just found that to be so different because I’m not sure if people would do that in the U.S. I practiced sign language which is a fun language to learn and communicate with. Working with the deaf community in Querètaro was exciting because they knew I didn’t know much but still found ways to teach me.
Overall, I just had a good time interacting with the people in Mexico and making secure friendships with the people there. It’s a lot to say about the entire trip, so I think it would be best if you just watch the video I made about it. (If there is anything specific you want me to talk about let me know in the comments. I really don’t know what to say I was there for a month. It was a lot to take in!) Please, please, please, watch the video I made about my trip. I spent a lot of time on it and hope to make more!
