It’s official, I have another year in the books! I am officially a Junior in college, but before I get too excited about my next journey; I want to take time to recap my sophomore year.
This year was honestly beyond difficult for me, from classes to extracurriculars, to my personal life; everything was all over the place. But with the help of my family, friends, advisors, and a therapist, I was able to push through and now here we are! With that being said, I realized that sometimes I get lost and think that I’m not doing anything with my time. That’s why often I take the time to reflect and think to myself “what have you done Paris?” I believe that it is important to realize even when everything seems like it’s clumping together, you have to realize everything that you do. And nine times out of ten you do a lot (so make sure you give yourself a break.) Despite the year being a rough one, I’m beyond proud of myself and excited for whats next.
Without further ado, here is my sophomore year recap:
When sophomore year first began I turned 19!
I finished my Spanish requirement. HOLA!
Raised my GPA!!!

I was accepted as a model for a campus magazine, and have my face printed out.

I made new friendships & strengthened some that I did not think I would have.

I learned photoshop. Still learning but it is becoming fun.
I had a wisdom tooth pulled. OUCH.

Tried new hair, period.

Applied to many internships, and got to hear the word “NO”.
Got to hear the word “YES” for the SEO program.
Walked in a fashion show on campus.

Then I Finished my sophomore year with bomb grades.
It’s important to remember everything done, even if it’s something small! Overall, I pushed through this year, obstacles and all. And I’m fine, I’m breathing, passing. Life is good. Now I’m ready for Junior year!
What’s something that you accomplished or gained this year?

Have a great summer! ☀️
