MASK ON MASK OFF 🎭 |RETURN TO NATURAL

MY SKIN AND HAIR ARE CHEESING AND SO AM I.

So a while back I got trapped into YouTube natural hair journey videos, and I’m always curious as to what is the specific area of people’s journey when their straight hair reverts back to curls. In one video, the girl’s curls sprung up after using a bentonite clay mask. (The product alone did not get her curls together but let me tell you it helped tremendously.) A few month’s later as I combed my hair and watched some of my curls spring, I was thinking of new products I could add to my collection because my hair is changing and my products need to be rotated. Then I remembered about this clay, which brings me to now! I ordered this clay on Amazon for about $8-10 which is not a bad price for the product, considering the magic it brings.

This is the clay all mixed up!

I first used this clay as a facial because it is so versatile you can use it for just about anything. I have normal skin so unfortunately, I am unable to tell you if it did much for my skin. But I can tell you my skin felt a lot smoother after application. I kept it on for about 20 minutes, I literally felt the clay doing its job. The labeling says “FEEL YOUR SKIN PULSATE,” I felt it! The clay hardens pretty quickly and it felt a bit itchy as it dried but not unbearable. Removal was easy and not painful despite the clay being hard. My skin afterward was red but that’s normal. MY SKIN FEELS SO GOOD. Now I know I have fair skin naturally but listen, the mask gave me a babies bottom skin. My boyfriend also did the skin mask with me and he has acne prone skin. He said that the mask was nice but he isn’t sure if it did much for him. If you have acne prone skin and want to try the product, maybe consistency is key to actually see or feel any difference we only did it once so far.

The mask in my hair was just absolutely amazing. I applied the clay on my freshly washed and detangled hair in small sections. I let the mask sit for roughly an hour (I think it’s only supposed to stay for twenty or thirty minutes but I was watching TV.) The clay makes your hair solid, which is kind of scary but it looks cool, it’s like you have a head full of grays. Once I rinsed it out- which is an honest struggle- my hair glistened like it had ten products in it already! I am telling no lies my hair was tangle free, shining, and my curls were happy too. I don’t know why this clay worked wonders but it did! I’m hoping to now do this mask roughly every two weeks and see how well my hair responds to it. I will, of course, keep you all updated if you want to see how this clay mask transforms my hair.
